Amos 5:4-5 For thus says the Lord to the house of Israel: “Seek Me and live; But do not seek Bethel, Nor enter Gilgal, Nor pass over to Beersheba; For Gilgal shall surely go into captivity, And Bethel shall come to nothing.
- God is asking people to seek Him.
- People are seeking God in wrong places.
- They think blessing is going to come from Bethel, Gilgal and Beersheba

Numbers 13&14: God commanded Moses to spy the land. Moses sent one from each tribe along with Caleb & Joshua. Majority of the spies came with a negative report saying "we are not able to go up against the people, for they are stronger than we". But Caleb & Joshua said, "We will go and possess, we are able to overcome". For they are our bread; their protection has departed from them, and the Lord is with us. Do not fear them.” Later we find Caleb could do that because he had a different spirit. What is that different spirit? Today you and I need that different spirit. Based on Caleb's report, this is what we could arrive at.

Acts 5:14-16 14 And believers were increasingly added to the Lord, multitudes of both men and women, 15 so that they brought the sick out into the streets and laid them on beds and couches, that at least the shadow of Peter passing by might fall on some of them. 16 Also a multitude gathered from the surrounding cities to Jerusalem, bringing sick people and those who were tormented by unclean spirits, and they were all healed.

- Church has to extent into the community
- Church must be a living and growing organism
- Church grows not by transferring people, church grows when non-believers become believers
- Non-believers are outside the four walls
