Set a Pillar, Build an Altar and Pitch a Tent

This is what we learn from the life of Jacob.
• Jacob sets up the stone that will remember what God has done to Him in Bethel. What is that stone in your life that you want to set as a pillar. Do something for God in the place where you are today.
• Let us not worry about our future, let us worry about what we can do for God in the place where we are today
• If you invest your life into something while you are here, God will bring you back to see the reward of your investment.
• God is calling us to live a life that is separated from the world
• Life on this earth is temporary. Only one life, it is going to go away soon, only what we have done for Christ is going to last.

The Simplicity of Christ and the Complexity of Christianity

If churches make religion too complex and present Jesus too hard to follow, we negate the purpose of God sending His Son to the world by denying the simplicity that is in Christ. No wonder the judgment to begin at the house of God. - Balan Swaminathan

- Today Christianity is considered as the most complex religion on the face of this earth.
- You can imagine the amount of hesitation when a non-Christian wants to become a Christian.
- There is a great need to simplify everything we do.

Give me Strength to Do what I Must Do

Genesis 22:1-12 - Abraham was called to sacrifice Isaac.

2 Timothy 1:9 who has saved us and called us with a holy calling, not according to our works, but according to His own purpose

What am I doing here in this part of the world leaving my family, parents, children, my known people, familiar environment, etc.?
- The answer is God's Purpose God everyone has already gone form this world
- my parents, my brother, my sister, my husband, my wife. Why are you keeping me alive in this world?

God has called you to encourage someone today! One thing that is wanted by every one is encouragement. Irrespective of the age, gender, nationality, color, and language, everyone is in need of encouragement. Our God is an encourager, He wants us to be encouragers too.

How do we encourage someone?
W - Word (by our words)
A - Action (by our action)
P - Prayer (by praying for the discouraged)
