God said in Joel 3:9 (GNT) “Make this announcement among the nations: ‘Prepare for war; call your warriors; gather all your soldiers and march!
Life itself is a battleground.
Old Testament believer Vs New Testament believer
• Journey of God's children from Egypt to Canaan in the OT represents the journey of the NT believers from birth till eternity.
• If that is true, the physical battle children of God fought were the foreshadow of the spiritual battle we are fighting as a NT believer.
• If the mountains, the valleys and the deserts were the battlegrounds of children of Israel, no doubt that today our mind, soul and body are the battlegrounds where we encounter our enemy
At the end of the sermon,
• We understood that we are in a battle whether we know it or not
• We came to know the battlegrounds of our mind, soul and body
• We realized that our God is a man of war
• We came to know the enemy we are fighting with
• We understood our enemy's strategies
• We found out our enemy's weaknesses
