The death of our Lord, Jesus Christ was not an accident. It was told by prophets years before and Jesus Himself predicted His death.
It was not an accident that Jesus was crucified on the cross.
John 10: 15 "As the Father knows Me, even so I know the Father; and I lay down My life for the sheep."
Luke 23:46 And when Jesus had cried out with a loud voice, He said, “Father, ‘into Your hands I commit My spirit.’ ”Having said this, He breathed His last.
Nobody took the life of Jesus Christ, it is He who gave His life.

And when he saw him, he passed by on the other side. 32 Likewise a Levite, when he arrived at the place, came and looked, and passed by on the other side. 33 But a certain Samaritan, as he journeyed, came where he was.
