Summary:
- In the OT tithing was a covenant man made with God to revert the curse pronounced on the earth
- In the OT tithing was a law God established to govern his people
- In Malachi God is asking us to test Him by giving our tithes to see if He will not pour the blessings by opening the windows of heaven
- In the NT every time when we exchange tithe, we re-activate the covenant blessing of God that He promised to Abraham
- When Christ died at the cross, He broke the curse of the law, but He didn't dismantle the covenant which God made with man. The covenant was made 430 years before the law was written

- Treasures are hidden, they are buried and they are of high value
- Value of a treasure is much more than our total worth
- Treasure were buried long ago, may be in your life time or in the life time of your fore fathers
- Some of our blessings were robbed by others may be in our life time, or in the time of our forefathers
- God is giving you the promises that He gave to King Cyrus Isaiah 45:1-3 "I will give you the treasures of darkness And hidden riches of secret places", we need to go and unlock them
- The hidden treasures can be unlocked by giving what belongs to God
- The hidden treasures can be unlocked by honoring God with our possession
